The Miracle of the Dead Tree

A long, long time ago
there lived an old Druid.

The old Druid went searching
for a dead tree stump
with his young disciple.

And he said to
his disciple:

"Water this tree
until this dead tree comes back to life."





__________________________________

__________________________________
The young disciple watered the tree stump
every day, as he was instructed
by his Master.
And time passed.

The young disciple grew and grew, eventually growing old,
reaching the age his Master was when he had first told him to water the tree stump.

But the disciple, continued to water
the tree stump every day
without fail.

And then one day, a miracle happened.

From the dead tree stump
a tiny little bud started to sprout.

And the tree started to grow and grow,
its branches reaching out wide,
into a beautiful tree.
