1. Geography
Dunbarton is located at the eastern countryside of the Antrim mountains on a relatively flat region. To its north and west, there are steep hills; however, the south and eastern region is made up of prairies. The city was originally developed as the roads near it were developing. If you carefully observe the road around it, you can find evidence of this. Inside the city, there is a broad way that is shaped like a 'Y' that's been turned on a 45 degree angle. The road that goes west leads to the Antrim mountains, and the one that heads north leads to Tir Chonaill. Also, the southern road leads to Gairech desert and Bangor. If you go around the Antrim mountains, you can get to Emain Macha as well as Tara.
2. Hydrosphere
There aren't any rivers or streams that flow near Dunbarton. According to a myth, there was a small river that used to flow through here, but currently, there is none. Because of this, the people of Dunbarton rely on underground water from wells. However, the soil in the eastern field contain a lot of moisture which allows for farming to occur.
3. Scenery
Due to the wind from north and the sea breeze from the east, Dunbarton receives a lot of rain and is fairly colder compared to other high-altitude towns. The sea breeze from the east picks up moisture and brings down rain once as it passes the East cliff of Ulaid, and once more as it passes the Antrim mountains on the west. The wind is then dried up until it picks up moisture as it passes through Erinn river and heads towards Tara and Emain Macha.
